Central Australia School Camp

Mercy Regional College recently returned from a challenging yet wonderful trip up the centre of Australia. Along with a lot of the East Coast, parts of the tour experienced well above average rainfall for that time of the year. At times the coaches had to be diverted away from proposed itinerary to avoid flooded areas. As per previous trips, Kings Canyon and Uluru were highlights for the students of Mercy Regional College. There were two coaches on the tour that also visited Port Augusta, Coober Pedy and Alice Springs. Overall, the 80 students and 8 staff had a great time away. Christians Bus Co have been running school excursions annually through the red centre for more than 10 years.
