COVID-19 Media Statement

We have been notified that a COVID positive person travelled on our bus services in Bacchus Marsh on Wednesday 14th July. We are working closely with the Department of Health to support contact tracing efforts. 

All passengers who were on the following bus route on the above days and times are advised to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days. Please contact the Department of Health on 1300 651  160. 

Country School Bus Service: Ballan/Greendale – Bacchus Marsh; and/or
School Town Service: Hallets Way – Bacchus Marsh College
Between Hallets Way (8:10am) and Bacchus Marsh College (8:31am) 

Country School Bus Service: Bacchus Marsh – Ballan/Greendale; and/or
School Town Service: Bacchus Marsh College – Hallets Way
Between Bacchus Marsh College (3:00pm) and Hallets Way (4:00pm) 

School Town Special: Bacchus Marsh College – Bacchus Marsh Grammar 
Between Bacchus Marsh College (8:20am) and Bacchus Marsh Grammar (8:40am) 

Bacchus Marsh College Bus Interchange
Between 8:21am and 8:41am 

This advice applies to anyone that was on these services and boarded or disembarked other buses at the Interchange during the times above.  

If you travelled around these times or attended the interchange but are unsure about which service you caught please isolate, get tested and contact the Department of Health. 

The affected buses had been cleaned and sanitised before service on Wednesday 14th July and enhanced deep cleaning was carried out onboard the bus along with extra sanitisation on high-touch surfaces after the service on Wednesday 14th July.  

The health and safety of our passengers and employees is our number one priority and we are working hard to ensure our public transport services are safe for everyone.
