Extended Tours 2016 Launch

105 guests turned up in Leopold to see for themselves the launch of the 2016 extended tours program. A lot of the people there had traveled previously with Christians on one or more of the tours, so they were thrilled to be able to hear in person what was going to be on offer.

Clive Harper has been escorting the tours for more than a decade now, and over time has built up a great rapport with the passengers. Clive was in charge of the microphone, giving valuable insights to some of the better highlights of each tour that can’t be described so easily in a written itinerary.

The brand new Scania coach will be visiting some of the more traditional places such as Canberra and Merimbula, but there are also a couple of exciting new destinations on hand such as Broken Hill, Barooga and the Hunter Valley. Many of the guests took advantage of the chance to sign up on the day and in doing so went in to the draw to win 2 tickets to a Christians Bus Co day trip.

The audience was also thrilled to hear that Andre Rieu was returning to Melbourne in 2016 and that Christians had already prearranged tickets for the guests on the day. Two lucky guests on the day picked up the prize valued at $340.

Christians were impressed with the tech savvy audience who were only too happy to sign up to receive future communications via email. With a lot of the tour and day trip information now available on line passengers can surf the extended tours and day trips programs from the comforts of their own home. Overall the event was really well attended and Christians are looking to make it a permanent fixture in the calendar from here on.
