Christians Bus Co move 15,000 GTM party goers

Bendigo has proven to be a big hit again with GTM party goers with the event selling out almost immediately for the 2015 event. Christians Bus Co had been working closely with GTM staff leading up to the event to ensure all patrons were able to get to and from the event.

Peter Ball has had a few years practice now and it seemed the 2015 event benefited enormously from his previous year’s experience. Peter said there were some 20 busses running around Bendigo in the morning, with pick-ups at various hotels, caravan parks and of course the Bendigo Station. However the real event kicked off at 7.30 pm when he had to handle almost twice the numbers of the morning transit, with an estimated 10,000 people jumping on a Christians Bus to get away from the showgrounds and back to their accommodation.

There were also more than 300 people who traveled via a Christians Bus from Ararat, Ballarat, Echuca, Rochester and Castlemaine. It really was a credit to all the drivers who were involved in the event as they provided all the party goers with a friendly service to make their trip to Bendigo GTM a memorable experience.

In 2016 you will be able to book your Groov in the Moo bus ticket online! K
