Seagalls Come out Winners

We posted an article earlier in the year (Archives), about the rising popularity of Senior Women’s Football on the Bellarine Peninsula. As a proud supporter of Women’s Football, we are pleased to report that the call out for players not only helped them field a team, but ensured they went all the way to win the premiership.

Premiers

Barwon Heads played against the Colac Imperials team in the Grand Final and eventually came out winners by the narrowest of margins. Funnily enough Christian’s had provided the bus services for the Colac team to get up and back to Geelong, whilst also providing buses for the Barwon Heads girls when they travelled to Colac earlier in the year. Congratulations to all involved, we were proud to be involved in the growing popularity of the sport in regional Victoria.
