The health and wellbeing of our staff, passengers and their families is of utmost importance.

Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to provide a summary of important changes we have implemented throughout our organisation to minimise the risk of community infection. Here are some of the measures we will have in place for our touring program:

Qualified Coach Captains

Our Coach Captains are competent in Clinical Cleaning and will place great effort towards the coach being presented each day of the tour in a clean and professional manner. They will actively monitor the hygiene etiquette of all passengers and ensure positive reinforcement of Covid safe measures like washing hands & wearing face masks.

Modern Fleet

Our modern fleet is seatbelt equipped with aircraft-style reclining seats, and we also offer climate-controlled air-conditioning, panoramic glare free windows, as well as washroom and toilet facilities.

Support on Hand

We will be supporting our Coach Captains from a far, with the Tour Coordination team being actively involved and available to assist during the tour. Our presence in Regional Victoria an added comfort as the coaches often travel within close proximity of these depots.

Pre-Departure Screening

For all guests, we have enhanced pre-boarding health screening and reporting. Pre-departure, all travellers are required to complete a passenger health questionnaire to ensure no high-risk passengers are permitted to commence any tours.

On Road Protocols

Our customised luxury coaches are sanitised before the departure of the tour. We have taken additional measures to elevate our hygiene and sanitary practices in accordance with guidance from the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS).

Our drivers are trained with the latest hygiene protocols and will clean and disinfect all surfaces including handrails, door handles, tables, seats, air-conditioning filters and overhead lockers daily.

All travelling passengers are asked to follow hygiene practices recommended by the World Health Organisation including regular washing of hands and sanitising when required. Hand sanitiser is freely available on board for our guests to use throughout the day. Please bring your own face masks and Rapid Antigen Test/s (RAT) and additional hand sanitiser to make you feel comfortable.

Should an unexpected situation arise, additional N95 face masks, rubber gloves, antiviral sprays and wipes are available for guest distribution on all trips.

Group sizes will be continuously reviewed to align with government directions.

Our Chosen Suppliers

We have a long history of working with our hotels and venues and will do all we can to ensure they adhere to our expectations on cleanliness and hygiene.

Taking Personal Responsibility

We have introduced these enhanced hygiene protocols – for you, our other guests, and our team.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the World Health Organisation and government health bodies, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

We ask that you please take personal responsibility for your wellbeing. This begins with packing any personal protective equipment and sanitisers you require. Please adopt physical distancing and hygiene practises throughout your pre-trip travel arrangements and follow all health instructions whether physical signage, or requests from our professional staff once you are travelling with us.

In choosing to travel with Christian’s Travel, you voluntarily assume all risks related to COVID-19 exposure.

Let’s help keep each other safe and healthy.
