Griffith Tour a Winner

A bus load of touring enthusiasts returned from Griffith and the Riverina last week. This was the first time a Christian’s Bus Co tour has been to that area and all reports where that is was a great success.

Although a little damp due to showers, the visit to Bel Amour Private Gardens was great! Not only due to the beautiful garden but also the really interesting tales from Buno regarding his family history in Australia and particularly the Griffith area.

Clive reported a major highlight was coming across a cattle heard that was droving in between major towns of the Hay Plains. We don’t think the coach was as clean having come out the other side.

Other highlights included the tour around Cantinia Salad Farm in the corrugated iron bus, there was a very informative video and the iron bus was a bit of a surprise. Along with the trip through Altina Wildlife Park on the wagons drawn by beautiful draught horses and narrated by the park staff. Thanks to everyone who joined us on the tour, we hope you had a great time away with us.

We still have some seats left on some upcoming tours including the Canberra Floriade and Western Australia in October, Murray Magic in November. To find out more, please Click Here
